On the morning walk to the farmers’ market at Carriageworks.

I tried unsuccessfully to find decaying tower blocks to represent this afternoon’s film, El Planeta (Spain, 2022).

The cinema was the Golden Age in the former Paramount Pictures building. And it turns out Surry Hills was a film precinct back in the 1940s. Around the corner from the cinema is the old 20th-Century Fox building, also Art Deco. MGM was nearby. 

This is the closest to derelict all week, so now tagged. Thanks for hosting 60plus.
