Converging Verticals

After Annie's 2am finish last night, today has been hard going. Then she had a 100+ mile drive home to finish.

For me, a more straightfoward day. The weather seemed to go in waves of rain and sun all day but a 10 minute blast of sunshine allowed me to pop out to grab this shot which I've tried several times before but never had the lighting quite as good as this.

Tonight I was leading at the running club and with the weather hanging heavy, it seemed inevitable that we would get wet (and we did). A good group though and 6.5 miles quickly dispatched.
