Platform 9 & three-quarters please!

After a three year hiatus, I got back to a train show this morning.
This was quite a big show with loads of interesting displays and booths to browse an rummage round. Chatted to the lady who planned and built this very nicely detailed Hogwarts themed layout. She did it all in two years during lockdown with a little help from her husband. A great project!
Today’s extra is of a small display which packed a deep pit, a sloping adit, a water wheel, a steam powered beam engine and even a few tiny trains into a lovely and suitably grimy looking diorama.
