Bonding

After helping Nadia out recently, I also met Alina and found out she lives only a few doors down from us. She was after some baby shoes for her 1yr old, who has just started trying to walk.
I managed to get hold of a few pairs and invited her round to collect them and so Anya could meet her eldest daughter, Polina. They immediately got on and played together wonderfully. She was particularly excited to meet the guinea pigs.
After they’d left, Anya asked if we could get a Christmas present for Polina as she’s had to leave all of her toys behind in Ukraine. She was a little teary talking about it and imagining how hard life must be for them. Of course we’ll get her a Christmas gift, what a lovely idea Anya!
