Gosling in the sunshine.

A trip to Bury St Edmunds to collect my sewing machine which has been serviced. Found a few bits and pieces need for the next sewing project and had a wander round the street market, before driving on to Ickworth House.

The house is closed on a Wednesday, but there are extensive grounds and it was comfortable weather for wandering round photographing the sheep and birds.

There was just one pair of Canada geese and their family of six goslings. The parents weren't as comfortable with our presence as the geese at the local pond that mob us to be fed at every opportunity. A parent kept close tabs on one of the goslings that kept wandering off.

On the way home we managed to buy the plants needed for the area of garden that I cleared last week. Just need the weather to stay fair so that I can get them planted.
