Countdown to home

I had a meeting today with Rafi's 'team'. Everyone is in agreement that Rafi needs to go home for a visit fairly soon. Ideal moving and handling techniques may have to go out of the window for the day, he needs to visit home and tells me so several times a day. He's had another really difficult day, but did manage an attempt at a stand on a turning device which we're hoping he might master before his visit home ( it will mean we don't need to lift him onto the settee)
Rafi is going crazy today with the noisy ward. He is really finding young children's voices unbearable ( they don't even have to be loud). He is making more noise than all of them as he shouts at the top of his voice 'shut up!'
All being well we should be able to get him home for the day a week on Friday.
