Stormy Friday

It’s been a day of unrelenting rain and high winds. This evening there are pictures of flooding on Deeside and Donside. Perhaps not quite as bad as Storm Frank in 2015 (when Ballater was badly flooded) but bad enough. The Chief was due to take the train to London this morning but last night bought a plane ticket and arrived safely. Her train was cancelled. I’d a very wet walk this morning on the golf course and met only a few hardy dog walkers.
