First bloom

I have my first bloom on one of my three holiday cacti.

I broke down and took the necessary meds last night so that I would be able to sleep and sleep I did! I slept hard. I woke up my usual time but went back to sleep no bother for a few more hours.

I indulged in a long shower and generally pampered myself

It was an odd job, doing the piddly little things kinda day but I think that was good for me.

Just got today’s text from our 11 yr old grandson. I am so enjoying our daily exchange of “Today I’m thankful for . . .”
