Christmassy things

We spent some of the day in the city today. A visit to a Christmas experience place for kids which wasn't as bad as that sounds. Mia loved it, the set up was good, the staff/elves a little undertrained and lack lustre. When we happened on Santa in his grotto he was chatting with a matey elf and scrolling on his phone, which he hastily stuffed beneath his red robes.
After that a long lunch in a cavernous child-friendly place, full of the parents in their thirties with kids under 10. Again not as bad as that sounds :) Jamie in the extra, ready for the day.
