First snowfall!
Saturday 12 November
The forecast had called for snow flurries this morning, but the “flurries” continued most of the morning, leaving us with almost an inch of the white stuff on roofs and the grass - it wasn’t sticking to the roads. Roger had a work morning with the Trustees at church - outside! They did stick it out for a while, well bundled up, and did what they could, but they did cut it short! I stayed in the warm, other than to take some pictures of the birds flocking to the feeders, and providing a pretty sight against the background of snowfall. The last couple of years, the first snowfall has been around a week into December, so it’s somewhat early this year. Other than that, I was busy doing housework, which has been sadly neglected the last few weeks, as we have made the most of the gorgeous Fall weather, and finishing my book for Book club on Monday, which I am hosting - hence the housework!
