Sophie and the Apple Pancake

A day of visitors: Shelly’s niece Sophie came up from Seattle with friends Henry and Zack. They stopped for a quick visit and brunch at the Birch Door before continuing on to Vancouver, BC. Sophie and Zack were on their way to belated graduation ceremonies from UBC, delayed by COVID.

Then around six, friends of Shelly’s arrived coming from the opposite direction. They live near Calgary BC and are on their way to California to visit friends. We went with them to Milano’s for an Italian dinner. They are staying tonight and tomorrow night and are heading off on Monday.

I like it when people visit.
