Eternity Sunday

…is the last Sunday in the liturgical year, also named Sunday of the Deceased (because all the persons’ names are read out in Church who have passed away in the last twelve months). Although no longer members of the Church, we feel the somewhat gloomy mood, as it is expressed in the weather, with its subdued light (2nd extra). - The main pic is a detail from the current exhibition of works by Canaletto (1722-1780) in Darmstadt Museum, they own a wide range of his drawings and etchings. Here is a contemporary artist’s toolbox, accompanied by a copy of William Cheselden’s Anatomy of the Bones from 1733. - And a flock of cranes flew over this morning!
