An object at rest remains at rest

"An object at rest remains at rest unless acted upon by a force" (Newtons First Law of Motion).

In my case the force was the alarm clock which propelled me towards the 07:16 on platform 1 for yet another trip to London for yet another meeting.

Made my usual pilgrimage to the British Library (and cafe). I almost blipped my "Strawberry and Pistachio Tower" but it didn't survive long enough.

Paolozzi's Newton remains hunched on his plinth in the gardens at the front of the library still making his mathematical examinations.

I always call here if I have time to kill waiting for trains, however my last blip here was October 2004
