Southwards
D and I took a little drive across to a local nature reserve once the rain had stopped this morning. It was gloriously sunny, and very wet.
The fun thing about going to different places is spotting species you wouldn't see nearer to home. We saw tufted ducks, greylag geese, a little grebe, a couple of pochards and a huge flight of 16 cormorants. We were treated to a small murmuration of starlings. And these geese decided to circle us a couple of times in parade formation, giving me the perfect opportunity to capture them in flight.
