Sparkle

Cheating ever so slightly - this was actually a Friday shot but I only just got round to looking through my photos from that evening and realised I had already posted a photo from during the day.

So D managed to secure free tickets to the Christmas illuminations where he works, and we invited my parents along. There were some absolutely stunning displays - in particular a set of LED tubes that gave the impression of rain falling to a twinkly soundtrack; origami cranes soaring overhead like angels to the tune of Walking in The Air, a moon suspended in a lake of stars; and a huge cathedral of thousands of tiny lights, with O Holy Night playing in the background. 

It was such a magical, transporting experience, so glad we got the opportunity to go.
