Messy Church 2

An early start to get ready for Messy Church again this morning, thankfully not as frantic as last time in terms of prep. We only launched this in October and then we had 22 adults and 18 children. Today we had 41 adults and 27 children! Now that's not a bad percentage increase in one go is it! It was crazily "messy" and great fun. 

The first weekend in December we are having an "Advent windows" event. Fourteen 1m x 1m windows lit by light boxes. We used the prayers today as an opportunity to make our window contribution. Each square representing a prayer offering. I overheard one mum tell her 5 year old daughter just to stick the square on but her daughter said "no, I haven't told God my prayer yet." Oh bless!
