Great Northern Diver

Causing another ripple of excitement amongst local birding photographers, another rare sighting for me today. I don't think I've seen one of these before!

I was also thrilled to see no fewer than four great white egrets! I only saw my first ever a year ago! I shall return to these lakes another day when I have better light...
