Travelling

After a home cooked large “Full English” Mrs S and I set off for a weekend away in London. The weekend is to include some time with my eldest son Barry, his wife Janette and my granddaughters Chloe and Freya either side of Englands rugby Union match against the New Zealand All Blacks.
We had a good journey up and arrived at Neil’s, Janette’s father where we were to stay, huge renovations at Barry and Janette’s as they add a third floor to their home.
Having settled in Neil took us over and we enjoyed catching up with everyone and enjoying a family meal together.

Todays photo; Following on from yesterdays Blip about St Mary’s aisle in Truro Cathedral these two intricately carved statues are believed to be John and Christabel Michell who died in 1620 and 1622, they are displayed at the entrance to the chapel. Cornish ship owner John and his wife were members of St Mary's parish church which went on to form part of Truro Cathedral.
