Day #11 - Los Angeles

Today was the last day of our incredible holiday and road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway.
We made the most of this last day by starting with a cheesy bus tour of Beverly Hills and some celebrity homes.
I found seeing the incredible homes and wealth both fascinating and distasteful in equal measure, especially when the tour ended at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and we were immediately confronted by dozens of homeless people in abject poverty.
The juxtaposition was striking.
Lunch was had in West Hollywood, and the afternoon spent in Venice Beach, where we watched the sun set on our holiday.
As we were walking back to our car we saw this guy standing on the fishing pier above us blowing bubbles into the sky for delighted children to chase and pop on the beach below.
