Red sky in the morning

This was the sight that greeted me as I opened my curtains this morning. The old adage ‘ Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning’ has certainly proved true today as it had been absolutely pouring down all day. Apparently a morning sky that is a deep, fiery red can indicate that there is high water content in the atmosphere indicating that rain is on its way. K
