Family reunited

These pictures are of poor quality as I took photo of the photos taken earlier in the summer. Just wanted to update you on news of the Ukrainian family who came to stay in our home to escape the war. Their father works for a Polish firm as a delivery driver, driving all over Europe. He is usually away for two or three months at a time. Once his family was safe with us, he got time off to come and visit. Then couple of months later he managed to find a flat for rent in a town nearby. They are now living independently, found schools for the kids, mother working in catering. It is not easy for them. Conditions are not very good but they don't give up. And despite everything they have been going through and the uncertain future, their optimism and high spirits are amazing.  In late August they came to visit us.  We had wonderful afternoon catching up on all their news. We'll be keeping in touch and visiting when we can.
