Autumn Woods

I met H at Felbrigg this morning for a walk in the woods, lovely autumn colour. It was decidedly chilly, only 0.8C outside at 7am and whilst it did warm up it felt cold, probably as we've had so much rain and everywhere felt damp. It was a bit muddy already near to the lake. With the change in temperature I've changed to my brushed cotton bedding, it makes such a difference. Today I had my M&S heatgen plus top on and my fleecy lined troucers and I certainly needed them. This afternoon I watched the England match, a fab result, great attack, but that defence looks suspect. This morning I also collected some leaves for the garden bin tomorrow - most of the leaves are still on the trees near me.
