The renovations begin

I only painted the hall 6 years ago, says I. Time for a change. I'm sick of the colour, says the Management. But the paint is in good condition and is good for a few more years, and it's very expensive to buy paint now. No matter, a change is necessary. The hall needs lightening up, so about 6 litres of Taubman's China Doll is the answer. What with the undercoat as well, that's about $200 in paint and too many hours out of my life. And it's only the beginning I fear.....
