Colourful Lupins

This morning I had my usual cuppa and scone with the church ladies, then I drove in the pouring rain to Albert Town, where I got this photo of the colourful lupins.  I will go back to this spot when the sun is shining, as none of the bright Californian Poppies were open.  After a cloudy morning, we are now having a good refreshing downpour of rain.  The river in the background is the Clutha River.  I have completed 10K steps, so I will call it a day as far as walking is concerned.
