Oh what a beautiful morning !

Oh what a beautiful day. We were out at 5.30am and on the Delnies Circular walk by 6. Blue skies, no wind, no heavy coat, no scarf, no hat. The gorse has suddenly erupted with its golden yellow flower and that smell of cocoanut all pervading in the still morning air. We saw rabbits, deer, buzzards (tourist eagles), rooks, crows, pheasant, swallows, robin, yellow hammers by the dozen and this view from the path, across the blue Moray Firth into the mouth of the Cromarty Firth. What a way to start a day. The forecast, heavy rain this afternoon.Ah weel, I had better get breakfast and into the garden whilst I can.
