What a day

It's been a gorgeous day here and had a nice dry walk for a change. It was a bit quiet but these greylags came in 'hot' and landed on the mud.

The rest of the day was spent in hospital - I got a cancellation endoscopy appointment and had that today. As far as they can see, all is good apart from an easily treatable hiatus hernia - they took biopsies on the way out just to make sure but don't anticipate any surprises :)

Luckily I'm not following in my dad's footsteps with the big c which is a great relief! No doubt some proton pump inhibitors for me and life should be a bit more comfy. Hoorah :)
