Bronze beech

This is one of N’s bonsai trees, a very attractive beech that looks every bit as good in its autumn finery as it does in spring. These autumn leaves are very tenacious, holding on until the new leaves appear.
The day started with a beautiful sunny frosty morning but by lunchtime the clouds began to drift over the blue stuff. However, I did manage to get a bit of gardening done, slowly making progress with the outdoor tidy up.
