Up On The Roof

The homestead is getting a spruce up this week. A new step yesterday, today a new roof, and tomorrow a new storm door. Steve will return Monday to finish. We’re quite pleased with the results so far • We shopped this morning for recessed lights and a wireless doorbell for said project above, then stopped by the grocery store to pick up fresh veggies for Thanksgiving, along with a few other items to get us through the weekend. It wasn’t as busy as expected but no doubt tomorrow, turkey-eve, will be a madhouse :) • MrsP’s tailbone is still sore from her recent fall, but between heat, a round pillow, ibuprofen, bengay, plus a nagging wife, she is slowly improving. By nagging I mean: Are you sure you should be lifting that? Have you taken your Advil? Don’t pick that up! Let me get that for you… I’m an excellent nag :) • Be good • Be well • Laugh as often as you can :)
