We cannot plan a funeral without the death certificate and, as the coroner is now involved, we have to wait for them.

When mum died, lots was done on line because of covid. Once we get the death certificate, we have to have a face to face appointment with the registrar.  We are 2 hours away.

Mum had a pre paid funeral and everything worked like clock work. Dad told us he doesn't care. So the funeral will be with his sister and many friends in mind. 

I had to wake Clive up during the night. Clearly some mad dream going on. He's gone up on the hill to clear his thoughts.
