Somewhere … over St Ives

Another horrible dark and wet start to the day.

Went into Bingley for a few bits of shopping and although it had eased quite a lot it was still raining.

Soon after getting home I spotted a rainbow through the front window. It wasn’t brilliant by the time I’d got my camera and taken it but not long after there was another seen here. The  lovely bright end was right over the autumnal trees in the lower woods of the St Ives estate. Not what I had planned but a definite for today’s blip.

The sun is out now and we have clear blue skies! Don’t think it will last but always nice to see and maybe we will get a dry walk up to the pub this afternoon for drinks with friends.

They announced the next round of rail strikes last night and one coincided with our visit to Leeds for the Rock and Roll Panto at the City Varieties Theatre.  Gave the ticket office a ring this morning and they couldn't have been more helpful so we are now going in early Dec instead of January. Something to look forward to.
