The coldest room in the house

We have stopped using our gas central heating to reduce our carbon footprint and have switched to three smart electric heaters. It means we can much more easily target the areas to keep warm and not heat unused areas like the hall. For a few years now we have been getting shoes and coats on in here before going out, but as winter approaches and the temperature drops, it makes more sense to keep the shoes and coats warm in the dining room and go out the back door. Especially now we have a new carpet in the living room.
