The Great Ouse is currently oozing greatly.
Unusually, as it crosses town, it splits into two streams – an upper and a lower, as well as a great many different places and methods for the two streams to rebalance.
Currently, the sluice gate between the Town Bridge and the Etienne Stott White-Water Arena is fully open. It makes an exciting roaring water sound, but I think the swans are missing out on sleep.
