Pie Crust Edge

It actually got up to freezing today and after the last week, felt warm, well not cold anyway. There was a bit of sunshine after a mostly cloudy day, to help lift the mood.

The rocks along the shore were covered in ice from the lake washing over them. The edges of the ice had begun to melt and made an interesting pattern, rather like a pie crust I remember as a child. Does anyone bake these days?

The lake water is not actually black, stare long enough and there is detail in there. I had great fun looking for shapes and combinations of ice and water.
