Flowing Water

Bridge over the acequia (pronounced ah-SEE-kwa) or irrigation canal.  Water from the Rio Grande gets diverted to farms to bring life to our desert land so that we may grow food to nourish our bodies.

Tomorrow is the day of our Thanksgiving.  All across our country we will gather in gratitude. Tomorrow we will feast with friends who have become family while back east our family will feast with friends who are also family.  It's my favorite holiday.
