Getting Better

After its winter rest the pool is gradually getting cleaner, as every day Steve uses a pool "hoover" to clear a bit more dust and muck that's accumulated at the bottom. The pool doesn't get the sun until lunchtime which means it can be quite cold, but this year we're hoping that the homemade heating system, which runs along the other side of the wall, will warm it up a little. The pool will be due for a coat of blue paint at the end of this year, which'll be a bit of a job.
