Looking Out

More rain forecast today, so we drove over to just outside Ambleside intending to do a circular but flattish walk to Grasmere and back. We got soaked! So after a tasty bowl of soup in Grasmere we caught the bus back to the car. Cheating a bit but we really couldn't face walking into the driving rain.
The views from the path are lovely but the main feature is the caves at Rydal. Luckily there are big stones to walk on to get to the back of the cave for the classic shot looking out. I managed not to fall in the water or I would have been even wetter.
