Westbury Manor

This museum is in Fareham Hampshire - my birth-town and where I visit twice weekly. (The town not the museum!)
The museum still looked good this afternoon despite the dreary weather.
In the past, amongst other things, it's been home to six Admirals of the Fleet; used as an air-raid shelter; been the borough's council offices: and since 1990 been the Town's museum
It houses all 'manner' of information about the Town's history, including how the area emerged as a world leader in brick production - highly fashionable Fareham Reds were used to build the Royal Albert Hall - and its little-known part in putting the first man on the moon!
