A trip to the park

Today teachers in Scotland were on strike so the schools were closed. I don't think this small five year old boy missed school too much. This morning he spent two hours at the swimming pool with his Daddy. A cafe lunch was followed by a trip to soft play. As it was earlier than usual when I I went to do after school Granny duty we went to the park. It was lovely spending time with just him without a three year old needing constant attention. We even walked to the shops in town to buy some coloured card to make a card for his Dad's birthday this weekend.
