Donkey Field Maple

I try to frequent shops that are dog-friendly. I discovered a couple of weeks ago that Homebase is one. I'd never been in the garden centre part of it before so Ollie dog and I had a mooch round this morning. As we were about to go back through the sliding doors into the main store Ollie picked up a pungent scent on some ivies. Suddenly a huge black cat appeared, spitting, staring, bristling and arching its back. We both got such a shock. Evidently it is a semi-feral fixture.

This dark-coloured horse was in the Donkey Field this afternoon with the grey mare and Marla the yearling. Even though we have had high winds many of the beautiful yellow field maple leaves are still hanging on.
