The light was fantastic, even in the middle of the day. It was delightful taking pictures today.
I saw two women examining fungi. One of them had green hair so, obviously, I had to take their picture. They loved it and now I've sent them a copy. They had to take my email because I've been going out and forgetting my cell phone lately. I've finally turned on the cell aspect of my Apple Watch so I can still call/be called.
I went to Lake Frank tonight and saw a tree lit up orange and reflecting in the water. I went down to take a picture and saw something huge by the water and thought it was a small man, fishing, until it flew away.
Laura Fernandez, a ballerina in Russia, knew she had to get out when Putin invaded. Her mother and family are Ukrainian and she couldn't bear listening to the Russians discuss the war. She was one of several prominent dancers and choreographers, including Bolshoi prima ballerina Olga Smirnova, to quit the country over the Ukraine war. She has resumed her career in Georgia.
The UK Defense Ministry says Russia has nearly exhausted its supply of Iranian drones.
Russia hasn't been training or supplying its new soldiers properly, so they smoke and they light fires to keep themselves warm, giving away their positions.
Russian Colonel Ivan Mertvishchev threatened a draft officer that he'd find trouble with his conscription process unless he was given a washing machine worth at least $1,153. The draft officer lodged a complaint with the military intelligence department. Mertvishchev is under house arrest.
