A life in pictures...

Liberation Day

Today is a public holiday in Guernsey. We are celebrating the 68th anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands. We were occupied by the Germans from 1939-1945.
There were thousands of people wandering around town enjoying the atmosphere. The harbour was full of visiting yachts from France. And later there will be an enormous firework display.
Happy Liberation day to all! :-)
