For sunshine, go East

It is the Hopetoun House Christmas fair this weekend. We’ve never been before.  We were impressed by the fact that the way the stalls were laid out in some of the state rooms we were also able to view some of the other rooms and the grandest Christmas trees we have ever seen. All credit to the stewards for their friendliness despite the crowds.

Bought some nice goodies, mostly for ourselves.

Sadly the tearoom was queued for miles so it was an al fresco take-away coffee trying to avoid the cold wind. Beautiful day though and I managed to grab a quick snap of the three bridges from the car park.
