The last few rays

Pub lunch with relatives who happened to be in the area which was so enjoyable that the daylight almost disappeared before I realised a blip needed taking. So emergency blip is sunset over the Relief Channel. 
We don't do a lot of pub meals (my fault really as I won't even pay for a cup of tea out if I'm in striking distance of our kettle) so our knowledge of local pubs is a bit limited. Still we struck lucky with this one, The Heron at Stowbridge. 
Daft thing is it was about 4 or 5 miles by car yet a 2 mile hike along side the river would have taken us right to their door. Maybe one day in the summer if I'm hankering for a drink stop on one of my perambulations....
