About To Pop

First year I've grown tulips, most of them have come up (as far as I know) and now they're lovely and tall and about to burst forth in flower.

Listening to my neighbour about the forthcoming wind and rain, I've taken precautionary measures and tied everything up or moved things into the shelter.

I promise (maybe) that this will be the last tulip photo for a while, but I'm like a kid with a new toy, I haven't had tulips before and it's all new and exciting.

It's been a bit of a rocky week, I'll be glad when Friday night is here and I can breathe a bit of a sigh of relief. Parents and illness - two things that shouldn't go together, but often do.
