Horses At Crowle
Worcestershire, not Lincolnshire.
Today we met up with my old friend Pete, you will remember no doubt his 70th birthday back in September :-)
We drove to their new house in Worcester, which was fun finding even with the help of Google maps. I was expecting to go into Worcester centre for lunch and a blip but as we really fancied a pub lunch he drove us to The Chequers at Crowle. I had a very nice ham, egg and chips, aka hand-carved ham on the menu. It was good to catch up again. There was much discussion about family, but also illness and medication. He has recently been diagnosed with Barrett's so we were able to exchange experiences of endoscopies.
I got this shot of the horses as we were leaving, otherwise it was going to be a shot of the pub.

Mistle Thrush?
I put the bins out this morning too, and when we got back our nice kind neighbour had brought ours back from the end of the drive. The green bins haven't been emptied though which is a pain as there is lots more due to go in ours in the next few days.
