Sun and Shadow

Strong sun at times today. I noticed this shaft of light coming through the lounge curtains this morning and placed an ornament to cast a very elongated shadow.

Bracket for camera enabling clamping onto tripod ordered yesterday from Wex arrived today but does not fit well onto my OM1.  Does anyone know of an L bracket that would work? There isn't one officially yet that will sit on the OM1 and allow access to battery door.
