Far Away Places?

With the golf course still closed, we decided we needed a trip to foreign climes: the best we could come up with was Sweden-on-Exe, aka the Exeter branch of IKEA, in search of bedroom furniture.

We saw what we wanted but, needless to say, one of the items was out of stock, so we’re going to have to order online when it becomes available. Probably a good job as the weight of about 7 boxes might have been too much for the back axle.

No trip to IKEA is complete without buying various things you didn’t know you needed and meatballs and Daimler bar cake in the restaurant, where we bumped into an old teaching colleague.

The blip was taken while waiting for Tess in a not very exotic location, outside the loos!
