Canal Basin

We went to Stratford today to meet Maureen and Ian.  It's Maureen's birthday and we had agreed to meet at Bistro Pierre for lunch.  We had a very nice meal and drink, the restaurant was fairly quiet and we had a good chat.

It was getting on for three thirty as we left for a little walk into the town centre.  Stratford's canal basin was fairly empty of narrow boats and as such showing off some nice reflections and the RSC in the background in the dusk light.

We decided on the newly opened Prospero Lounge on Bridge Street for a coffee.  Noisy, but nice coffee!
