Sunset Above the Clouds

A day spent travelling which is always trying and tiring but it’s all gone pretty well. We landed at Stornoway in the dry and picked up the hire car. It was getting dark and halfway through the drive to Tarbert the rain started and got very heavy. I don’t know why the weather gods hate it when John and I go on a trip but I’m sure they’re just laying with us and the rest of the week will be fine.

We’re here in the hotel, we’ve had a good meal and enjoying a beer. That can’t be bad.
