S and I were picked up this morning for a preschooler meet-up at Croft 3. The four children had a great time running about, eating soup and bread and colouring. A really nice way to spend a few hours. On the way home I spotted 4 hen harriers! Including a male, they’re so beautiful with their white bodies and black tips on the wings. This afternoon we’ve read stories in front of the fire S had a lots of questions about Australia and has decided she would like to go tomorrow (me too pet). I showed her videos of kangaroos and kookaburra and we talked about how they have Christmas in summer. Maybe one day we will go back to Perth, that was always the plan pre-pandemic.
